1. Go to Clinical Admin–>1. Management Options –>20. Utilities –>25. Orderables–>7. Procedures –>4. Next available.
2. Enter the prefix of the procedures you’re working off of (look at others in your category to determine this – CON, DIET, NUR, etc.)
3. Enter the number of procedures you need IDs for
4. Optionally, you can start from a certain numerical suffix. This could be helpful if you and others are working in the same category (i.e. I’ll start from CON200 and Heather will start from CON300) so you don’t overlap
5. If you do want to start from a certain suffix, enter that number
6. You should get your output of available IDs. You are able to copy and paste those into your spreadsheet
7. NOTE: this does not “reserve” that ID, only creating the procedure through an import or in Text will actually use that ID
