The functionality in Epic can work 2 ways. 

1. If the provider chooses to complete the circumcision procedure documentation first, the procedure documentation will automatically place and complete only the circumcision order when the procedure note is signed.
2. If the provider first places the order for circumcision, then the order can be linked to the circumcision procedure documentation which will complete the order.

In either case, the orders for the circumcision care would still need to be placed by a provider.

I am not aware of what has been discussed regarding the workflow for the pediatricians and OBGYNs and who should place the orders.
