If someone is placed on “continue routine care” sepsis BPAs are silenced for 24 hours

For Sepsis watch, the next BPA to the provider shows immediately, but if the provider chooses to continue monitoring, the next alert shows in 4 hours

For sepsis red, the next BPA to the provider shows immediately. The provider then has some acknowledgement options that allow them to suspend the alert for them personally for either 5 minutes or 1 hour; or for everyone for 24 hours.
